Powder Brows is a permanent makeup technique that creates a natural and soft effect.
This relatively painless procedure shapes the brows and enhances their color while maintaining a natural appearance.
No one will guess you’ve had a permanent makeup treatment.
It is strongly recommended to have a touch-up session, as it helps prolong the results of the procedure. The timing for the touch-up is determined by the service provider and depends on factors such as the client’s age, skin type, product use, lifestyle, etc.
Note: If the procedure is done more than 10 weeks after the initial session, it is no longer considered a touch-up but rather a new procedure and will be priced as a full session.
A touch-up session is recommended to enhance the colour intensity of your eyebrows.
It is highly recommended to schedule a consultation with our expert before the first PMU procedure.
To book a free consultation, a $50 deposit is required. This deposit will be applied toward your service fee if you decide to proceed.
Do not tweeze, thread, or shape your eyebrows within one week prior to your session to ensure the natural brow shape is maintained for the procedure.
Brow lamination and/or shaping should be done at least one week before your permanent makeup session.
Allow at least three weeks after any laser resurfacing or chemical peeling before scheduling your permanent makeup appointment to ensure the skin is fully healed.
Schedule these treatments at least two weeks before your permanent makeup application, or wait until complete healing post-procedure.
Wait at least one month after receiving botulinum toxin (Botox) treatments before undergoing permanent makeup to ensure muscle stability and optimal skin condition.
Avoid taking antibiotics 2–3 days before the procedure, unless prescribed, to prevent any potential interactions with the pigments or the healing process.
Refrain from consuming alcohol at least 24 hours before the procedure to minimize bruising and swelling.
Avoid caffeine on the day of the procedure to help keep you calm and maintain stable blood pressure.
Do not take any blood-thinning medications, such as Aspirin, within 24 hours before the procedure to reduce the risk of excessive bleeding.
Menstrual Cycle: You may experience increased sensitivity during your menstrual cycle. For greater comfort, it’s recommended to schedule your procedure a week before or after your period.
If you are taking Accutane or similar strong retinoids, wait 12 months after your last dose before scheduling a session to ensure skin integrity.
If you are using Retin-A or other topical retinoids, pause use and wait one month before your permanent makeup appointment. You may resume use one month after the procedure.
Days 1–2:
Your permanent makeup will appear brighter than usual.
You may experience slight redness and swelling.
Days 3–5:
Crusts or scabs will begin to form, and peeling may occur.
Important: Do not pick at or remove the crusts/scabs, as this can lead to infection and pigment loss.
Days 6–10:
Peeling should subside, and the crusts/scabs will naturally fall off.
The treated area may appear significantly lighter than it did immediately after the procedure—this is a normal part of the healing process.
Younger Skin: Final color results will become visible no earlier than 28 days post-procedure.
Mature Skin: True color typically emerges between 50–60 days after the procedure.
Ultimately, the color will stabilize to be 40–50% lighter than it appeared right after the procedure, resulting in a softer and more natural look.
Day of the Procedure:
No special treatment is required for your brows during the day. In the evening, wash your brows with a gentle, acid-free soap or facial cleanser.
Pat the area dry with a clean paper towel.
Following Days:
For the next 5 days, twice daily (morning and evening), gently wipe your brows with the cotton pads provided. Then apply a thin layer of the vitamin ointment included in your aftercare kit.
Avoid steaming, applying additional skincare products, and participating in activities that cause heavy sweating.
Do not scratch, scrub, or peel any crusts or scabs.
Starting on Day 5, you may resume your regular routine.
Apply SPF cream to protect the color from UV exposure.
The permanent makeup process includes two essential stages: the initial procedure and follow-up touch-ups.
For the best results and long-lasting effects, a touch-up session should be scheduled no earlier than one monthafter the initial procedure.
In some cases, multiple touch-ups may be needed to achieve the desired result.
