The treated area may appear white or “frosted” immediately after the laser – this is normal and will subside within 20–30 minutes.
Redness, swelling, and a sensation similar to a sunburn are common.
DAYS 1–3:
• Swelling lasts a maximum of 24 hours and redness will gradually decrease.
• The area may feel tender or sensitive to touch.
• The treated pigment may appear darker or more raised temporarily as it moves to the surface of the skin.
• Itching is common during this phase – resist the urge to scratch.
WEEKS 2–8:
• The permanent makeup will gradually fade as your body’s immune system breaks down the ink particles.
• Full results from each session typically become visible 6–8 weeks post-treatment.
• Multiple sessions may sometimes be required, spaced 6–8 weeks apart for complete removal.
FIRST 24 HOURS:
• Keep the treated area clean.
• Apply the ice pack provided at the studio for 10–15 minutes every hour to reduce swelling and discomfort.
DAYS 2–14:
• You may use cosmetics in the eyebrow area and apply makeup.
• Use sunscreen to protect the treated area.
• Do not use tanning beds or apply self-tanners to the area.
• Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms for at least 2–3 days.
• Refrain from strenuous exercise and activities that cause excessive sweating for 48–72 hours.
• Do not shave, wax, or use hair removal products on the treated area until fully healed.
• Laser permanent makeup removal is a gradual process that sometimes requires multiple sessions.
• Sessions are typically spaced 6–8 weeks apart to allow your skin to heal and your immune system to process the fragmented ink.
• The number of sessions depends on factors such as ink type, color, depth, size, and your body’s response.
• Permanent makeup most often requires 1–3 procedures.
• Complete removal is not always guaranteed, but significant fading is achievable in most cases.
