After-Care Instructions – Brows

What to Expect

Days 1–2:

  • Your permanent makeup will appear brighter than usual.

  • You may experience slight redness and swelling.

Days 3–5:

  • Crusts or scabs will begin to form, and peeling may occur.

  • Important: Do not pick at or remove the crusts/scabs, as this can lead to infection and pigment loss.

Days 6–10:

  • Peeling should subside, and the crusts/scabs will naturally fall off.

  • The treated area may appear significantly lighter than it did immediately after the procedure—this is a normal part of the healing process.

Long-Term Healing

  • Younger Skin: Final color results will become visible no earlier than 28 days post-procedure.

  • Mature Skin: True color typically emerges between 50–60 days after the procedure.

  • Ultimately, the color will stabilize to be 40–50% lighter than it appeared right after the procedure, resulting in a softer and more natural look.

Aftercare

Day of the Procedure:

  • No special treatment is required for your brows during the day. In the evening, wash your brows with a gentle, acid-free soap or facial cleanser.

  • Pat the area dry with a clean paper towel.

Following Days:

  • For the next 5 days, twice daily (morning and evening), gently wipe your brows with the cotton pads provided. Then apply a thin layer of the vitamin ointment included in your aftercare kit.

General Precautions

  • Avoid steaming, applying additional skincare products, and participating in activities that cause heavy sweating.

  • Do not scratch, scrub, or peel any crusts or scabs.

  • Starting on Day 5, you may resume your regular routine.

  • Apply SPF cream to protect the color from UV exposure.

Brows Permanent Makeup Procedure Stages

  • The permanent makeup process includes two essential stages: the initial procedure and follow-up touch-ups.

  • For the best results and long-lasting effects, a touch-up session should be scheduled no earlier than one monthafter the initial procedure.

  • In some cases, multiple touch-ups may be needed to achieve the desired result.
