NOTE: A touch-up session after 4–6 weeks is highly recommended. Keep in mind that the results of the procedure typically last between 1.5 to 3 years.

AFTER 4-10 WEEKS

It is strongly recommended to have a touch-up session, as it helps extend the longevity of the results.

The timing of the touch-up is determined by the service provider and depends on factors such as the client’s age, skin type, product use, and lifestyle.

Pre-Care Instructions

1. Treatments:

  • Thread Lifting: Thread lifting should only be performed after complete healing from a permanent makeup procedure.
  • Botulinum Toxin Injections: Schedule your eyelid permanent makeup appointment at least one month afterreceiving botulinum toxin injections to ensure full settling of the treatment.

  • Eyelash Extensions: Please remove eyelash extensions prior to your appointment to ensure a clean and accessible working area.

  • Lash Lift & Tinting: Complete any eyelash coloring or lamination at least one week before your permanent makeup session to avoid potential chemical interactions.

2. Health:

  • Post-Eye Surgery Consultation: If you have recently undergone eye surgery, please consult your physician before booking. They can advise when it is safe to proceed with permanent makeup.

  • Antibiotics: Avoid taking antibiotics 2–3 days before the procedure unless they are prescribed by a doctor.

  • Alcohol: Refrain from consuming alcohol 24 hours prior to your appointment.

  • Caffeine: Avoid caffeine on the day of the procedure to minimize potential bleeding and skin sensitivity.

  • Menstrual Cycle: Due to increased sensitivity, it is recommended to schedule your procedure one week before or one week after your menstrual period for greater comfort.

After-Care Instructions

What to Expect

Days 1–2:

  • Your permanent makeup will appear brighter than expected initially.

  • You may experience slight redness and swelling.

Days 3–5:

  • Crusts or scabs will begin to form.

  • Peeling may occur during this period.

  • Important: Do not pick at or remove the crusts/scabs, as this can lead to infection and pigment loss.

Days 6–10:

  • Peeling should subside, and crusts/scabs should naturally fall off.

  • The pigmentation in the treated area may appear significantly lighter; this lightening is normal and part of the healing process.

Long-Term Healing

  • Younger Skin: The final color will begin to settle and become visible no earlier than 28 days post-procedure.

  • Mature Skin: Expect the true color to emerge between 50–60 days after the procedure.

  • Ultimately, the color will stabilize to be 40–50% lighter than what was initially visible, resulting in a softer, more natural appearance.

Aftercare

Day of the Procedure:

  • There is no special aftercare required for the eye area on the day of the procedure.

  • In the evening, rinse your eyes gently with warm water.

Following Days:

  • For the next 5 days, avoid using eye makeup and be gentle with the treated area.

General Precautions

  • Avoid steam, applying additional products, and activities that cause heavy sweating.

  • Do not scratch, scrub, or peel off any crusts or scabs.

  • From Day 5 onwards, you may resume your regular routine.

Lash Line Permanent Makeup Stages

  • Permanent makeup typically involves two key stages: the initial procedure and a follow-up touch-up.

  • For best results and longer-lasting effects, a touch-up session should be scheduled no earlier than one month after the initial procedure.

  • In some cases, more than one touch-up may be needed to achieve the desired outcome.

FAQ

Will you use numbing cream during the procedure?

Yes, absolutely. We always apply a pre-numbing cream before starting the treatment to ensure maximum comfort. Most clients describe the initial sensation as a light tickling. Once the first pass is complete, we apply a stronger secondary anesthetic, which makes the rest of the procedure virtually painless. You’ll be completely comfortable — no need to worry. After the session, you can safely drive and resume your daily routine without any restrictions.

I really want lash enhancement, but I’m afraid it will look fake.

Lash Line Enhancement (also called Interlash Tattoo) is one of the most natural and subtle PMU procedures available. The pigment is implanted precisely between your natural lashes, not above the lash line. This gives the illusion of fuller, denser lashes and adds depth to your eyes — without looking like obvious eyeliner. It’s suitable for nearly everyone who wants a more defined and expressive eye look without wearing makeup. We always begin with a pre-draw/sketch, showing you a preview of what the result will look like based on your unique eye shape and lash density. This way, you can give your input and feel confident before we begin.

What’s the healing process like, and can I wear mascara afterward?

Healing usually takes 3–5 days, and the process is very simple. There’s no major aftercare — just avoid rubbing, touching, or applying mascara during the healing period. It’s also important to arrive at your appointment without lash extensions, and wait 2 weeks after the procedure before applying new extensions. All our post-procedure guidelines can be found in the After Care section on our website. And of course, we’re always here to help — reach out to us via your preferred messenger if you have questions at any time.

Can I choose a dark brown pigment instead of black?

Definitely. In fact, we highly recommend using a dark brown pigment for lighter clients, especially blondes or those with fair skin and light eyes. Black can sometimes look too harsh on delicate features. We offer both black and dark brown pigments for lash enhancement, and we’ll help you choose the most flattering shade during your consultation — ensuring your result is soft, balanced, and exactly what you envisioned.

Will I need a touch-up after lash line enhancement?

Yes, we do recommend a touch-up session for lash line enhancement. Although the procedure heals beautifully for most clients after just one session, the lash area is delicate, and some skin types may retain pigment a bit lighter or unevenly. A touch-up allows us to perfect the shape, depth, and intensity, ensuring your results last longer and look flawless. The touch-up is usually scheduled 6–8 weeks after the first procedure, once the pigment has fully settled and your skin has healed. It’s a quick and gentle session that truly completes the process, especially for clients with oily or sensitive skin, or for those wanting a slightly bolder result. We always offer a free online follow-up consultation after the healing process — just send us a clear photo, and we’ll let you know whether a touch-up is needed.
